Dennis F. Sanders, 65, a resident of Davie, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, in pembroke Pines. He was born to the late William Sanders and Thelma Sanders on September 19, 1952, in Miami, Florida. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Veronica Sanders; daughter Holly Sanders; mother, Thelma Sanders; and sister, Karen Sanders. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. with a Tribute of a Lifetime Service at 7:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.

Dennis was not only a terrific musician, but also a wonderful human being. His smile was as infectious as his guitar playing. I treasure the years we played together. RIP my friend.

One of my first acquaintances from having moved to Florida in the mid 80’s. Was honored to work with him years later at Mar’s music. He was only ever the nicest guy,friend and gentleman. My prayers and condolences to all who loved him. He was a true treasure in ur time.
