Dee Dee my sweet grandmother in law. You were a pioneer of your time. A woman with 5 children running a successful business at a very young age. Especially because that was not the norm yet back then. You were always happy to see me. To see Grandson happy. You always believed in me… and told me. That meant the world to me. I think of the love that you and Grandpap shared and how grateful I am to share that same unconditional long lasting love with Danny, you Grandson. I wasn’t sure it existed until I had the pleasure of living with you guys in the Keys. You showed me how to cook, and be a strong woman, yet still a devoted Wife to your husband. Cooking for the entire family, after work, then serving each and every person individually. Making Grandpap bowls of ice cream for desert. You saw thru the facade; saw the real situations and made the people around be a better person. For me, you inspired me, loved me, and most of all loved the rest of your family fiercely. One of the strongest women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I thank you for being a part of our lives, you are forever cherished. I have so much more to say about you.
