Dorothy M. Terrier (Roe) 93 died on Feb. 7, 2019. She was preceded in death by Rupert O. A. Terrier, her husband of 72 years, and daughter Eileen.  Daughter of Joyce Fletcher Roe Lockwood and Vincent A. Roe. 

Dorothy and Rupert move from Jamaica with their family in 1955. They resided in North Miami, Hollywood and Lakeland, FL.  Dorothy was a member of St. James in the Hills Episcopal Church and started the annual St Ann’s Guild Tea Party. She was talented in making exquisite cakes, floral arrangements and entertaining. Dorothy was a blessing, the glue and center of her family. In her calm, smiling, efficient way she went about her life.

Survived by: Brothers Aston Roe (Dorothy) Calgary, Canada and Paul Lockwood (Rubye) Greer, SC. Five children – Michael (Gladys), Jean Ruzycki (Terry), Yvonne Carter (Cleve), Pamela Terrier and Dwayne (Wendy.) Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. 

Viewing on Friday, Feb. 8 from 6-8 pm at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Blvd., 33024. Funeral Services on Sat. Feb. 9 at 10 am at Charismatic Church of the Resurrection, 6701 SW 25 Street, Miramar, 33023.  Reception to follow at church after the service.
