Weaks, Dorothy M., 103, of Tamarac, went home to be with the Lord on 4/19/2014. She had been a resident of S. Florida since 1977, having moved here from Centerville, Ohio. She lived a very long and healthy life and stayed active even doing some light gardening in her final years. She had appeared as part of an acrobatic act in vaudeville as a young girl and loved to tell about walking on her hands and jumping down from tables on her toes without toe shoes. She was devoted to her family and had a childlike faith in our Great God. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Weaks in 1969 and is survived by her son, Dennis of N. Lauderdale and 2 daughters, Melva Coggeshall of Beavercreek, Ohio and Reva Fletcher of Tamarac. Private Graveside Service at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
