Duzlin May (Bryan) Edwards went to eternal rest on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the age of 88. Duzlin was born on July 4, 1929 in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. She married her beloved husband, Geoffrey Dowelley Edwards in 1957 and had one son, Lancelot and two daughters Claudette and Hortense. The family migrated to the U.S. in the early 1960s and made Connecticut their home.

After retiring, Duzlin and Geoffrey moved to South Florida in the early 1990’s where they enjoyed the retirement life. She retired from St. Francis Hospital after 30 years of service. Her passions were pruning and picking her Mango and Ackee trees, sawing, playing dominos while listening to music with here husband and cooking for her family.

She is survived by her children Claudette of Tamarac, FL, Lancelot and his wife Marie of Bloomfield, CT, Hortense of Herdon, VA, one stepson Perry of Hartford, CT. Eight grandchildren, Ian, Edward, Matthew, Brandon, Danielle, Kyle, David and Michelle. Two great grandsons Kaiden and Ja-seam and one great granddaughter Jemma.
