Steen, Edna Eddy, passed away at 93. Preceaded in death by her husband, Herbert and son, Ronald. She is survived by her daughter, Chere & son-in-law Brian; grandchildren, J.R. Lily, Christopher & Derek; and great-grandchildren, Kara, Katalina & Logan. Eddy was dedicated to her familly and she was also a devoted catholic, volunteering many hours at her church. She had an extensive career in many areas, from helping with the war effort to bookeeping, to her final career days as an Administrative Assistant for Cordis. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to St. Rose of Lima Parish, 415 NE 105th St., Miami Shores, FL 33138. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012, 11:00 AM, St. Rose of Lima Parish. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park Cemetery.

I would not be where I am today with out all your support and encouragement during my childhood and college years.
I will always remember you as a devoted wife to your husband especially during the years Dad had Alzheimers and needed so much care.
You were a true hero in my eyes because you endured the lost of a child and was able to carry on and keep the family together.
