PUIG, Ela Barcala, age 90, of Pembroke Pines, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018. Born on July 10, 1928, in Havana, Cuba, the daughter of the late Ortello Barcala and Adolfina Aguiar. Survived by her loving son, Hector Puig and her dear niece, Lourdes Donikian. Ela wished for her body to be donated for medical research and to help future physicians to the Anatomical Board Program at the University of Miami.
