Geissler, Elaine M., 74, of Pembroke Pines, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012. She is survived by her loving friends, Barbara Rezac, Eva Kuklinski, Dr. Susan Bobek, Angela Fenton and Lydia DeSantis. Gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012, from 2-4 PM with a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM, at Boyd-Panciera Douglas Road Chapel.

Dr. Elaine Geissler. A lovely lady, who, throughout her life touched so many lives through public healthcare, helped countless others, authored a book and strived daily for a higher quality of life. They don’t make ’em like Elaine, anymore. I will never forget you. Rest in eternal peace -Yanka and your parents are waiting!

Elaine and I were friends and neighbors for many years. We had some great times together including vacations at Martha’s Vineyard and Lake George as well as lots of day trips in Connecticut. I will always remember her friendship and her love of cats. I missed her presence as she spent more and more time in Florida and I will never forget her.
