To Liz's family:

Liz was my supervisor from 1999 to 2004. I have many fond memories of working with Liz. She was always very supportive of my ideas and gave me opportunities that allowed me to embrace new technology and grow professionally as a leader. Over the years, I continued to enjoy working with her as a peer instead: On the personal side, she was always quick to share a joke or just talk about life in general. I will miss her. My heartfelt condolences go out to her husband Billy, her mother, her sister, and other family members. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I pray that God gives you comfort at this time – Jer. 31:13b "I will turn their mourning into joy; I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow".

Billy, I am so very sorry to have heard about Liz.

We are all surrounded by people who have suffered, endured, and survived the loss of a loved one in their life. I realize that knowing this will not be particularly helpful right away, but after some time has passed it may be more comforting to know about other people who can understand, in some small way, the grief you are experiencing.

Sometimes, from the most unlikely of sources, we hear a word or two, or read a passage or a phrase, that is healing and gently guides us along the path towards recovery.
If I can be of help in some small way, please feel free to reach me.

I am just reading this obituary. I adored Liz and went to school with her at Loyola. I am happy we got to visit when I was auditioning in Miami, when she visited New York, and another time She came to a performance with the Nee World Symphony. I loved her and was just thinking about. Condolences to Billy and the family!
