Erik J. Staats, age 52, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away May 13, 2026. He was born in Anaheim, California on July 25, 1973.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Staats and by his wife, Angela Staats.

Erik is survived by his daughter, Elyse Staats; mother, Judith R. Staats; sister, Krista Lynn Staats and dear friends, David and Wendy McElwee.
