Reverend Father Larkin Francis Connolly, of Davie, FL died Saturday at Lourdes Pavillion in West Palm Beach. He was 91. Father Connolly was ordained a Catholic priest on May 28, 1947 at Saint Martha’s Catholic Church in Sarasota, FL. He served as Pastorat Saint Mary’s Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Key West. FL, Saint Luke’s Catholic Church in Lake Worth, FL and Saint Bernadette’s Caholic Church in Hollwood, FL. Father Connolly celebrated his priesthood for 57 years. He is survived by his sister, Mary Poynton of Southern Pines, North Carolina. Friends may visit from 5-8 PM, Tuesday at Saint Mark’s Catholic Church, 5601 S Flamingo Road, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33330 with a Prayer Service 7:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1301 SW 136 Avenue, Davie, FL 33326. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn South.
