De La Cruz, Federico, 89, of Hallandale Beach, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017. He was born on June 19, 1927, in La Vega, Dominican Republic, to parents, Andres Avelino De La Cruz and Maria Domitila (Restituyo) De La Cruz. He obtained a Master’s Degree and worked as an accountant. Survived by his beloved wife, Grecia Matos De La Cruz; daughters, Minut De La Cruz and her husband, Luis Reynoso and Lis De La Cruz,  Marina De La Cruz, and her husband, Lidio Segua; sons, Frederico De La Cruz and his wife, Maxima Mejia, Carlos “Federico” De La Cruz and his wife, Gina Sanchez; sister, Ana De La Cruz; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 19, from 5-8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. all at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. Burial will take place in the Dominican Republic.
