Florence C. Modzelewski, 93, a cherished mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, December 22, 2016. She was born on November 8, 1923, in Manhattan, New York, to the late Alexander Ozarowski and Eleanor (Smela) Ozarowski. Florence enjoyed being a stay home mom and loved to take care of her family. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward R. Modzelewski, daughters, Joan Modzelewski and Connie Sigl. She is survived by her loving daughter, Marcia (David) Getz; and two grandchildren, Jennifer (Devin) Frazier and Alex Getz. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Nativity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at South Florida National Cemetery.
