Pallag, Florence Karpowich 89, passed away on August 5, 2014 from COPD in Hollywood, FL. Florence was born in New York City on April 3, 1925. She was married to Andrew Pallag for 51 years until his death in 2002. Florence received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She received her Master of Arts degree and had completed all classes for her Doctorate in American History from NYU. Florence lived most of her life in Teaneck, NJ where she raised her family. She is survived by her children, Peter Pallag, Celestine Taffet and Georgina Winton as well as her two grandchildren, Steven Taffet and Dorothy Taffet. Private services will be held at a later date. Contributions can be made to the American Lung Association in Florence’s memory.
