I flew with Frank many times with Delta as his co-pilot and flight engineer. Frank was such a smooth pilot and spoke many times of his family and that Helen was prone to car sickness.

Helen: Sorry I never met you nor your family but I have forever been thankful to Frank for trading bases with me in 1951, I to be closer to home and he for the health of your daughter.

All I ever heard of him afterwards was praise from the other pilots.

My greatest respect to a great guy

I transfered to Miami and my first flight as a S/O on the DC-7 was with Frank. He made a big impression on me. One of the few great people you meet in your life. We flew together alot and was fun to be with him. He will be greatly missed.

I flew with Capt O’Hare in the 60’s and always knew when he was our captain that my passengers and crew were in good hands. A good man & Delta professional. Sorry for your loss. May God Bless & comfort your family.
