Iacino, Frankie Bell, 87, of Hollywood died peacefully September 22, 2006. A well know Big band Jazz Drummer who worked one end of Miami Beach cutting the beat for many stars. Working with stars like Jackie Gleason, Paul Anak, Chuck Ink, Connie Francis and many more. he came to Miami in 1946 with the Martha Rae show and Stan Kenton band and working the beach playing all the right notes. For 71 years his spirit & comic side made us all laugh. He will be remembered by all. Survived by his wife Lou, 3 sons, Frank Jr., deceased, Michael, Anthony and daughter Melody deceased. Frankie will beating his drums to another new audience and the angles will be singing. Also owned Bell Tax & Bookkeeping Service for over 30 years. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006 from 5-9PM, funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Boyd’s Family Funeral Homes University Dr. Interment will be at Hollywood Memorial Gardens.

He was my uncle, married the first time to my mother’s sister, Vivian Culbreth. I vaguely remember him, but knew of his talent and great personality. They had two children together: Frankie Hr., and Melody, both ore-deceased him.
