O’Donnell, Frank “Hank” J., 90, of Pembroke Pines, a member of the greatest generation, passed away peacefully Friday, April 16. He is survived by his bride of 66 yrs. Clare O’Donnell, and his children; Frank O’Donnell pre-deseased by Margaret, Diane Yardley Morris Robert, Bunny Cullen John, Eileen McDonnell Bill. Always the family man, Frank was blessed with 16 grandchildren; Kelly Oreper, Frank O’Donnell, Michelle Brooks, John Yardley, Chuck Yardley, Dan Yardley, Kevin Yardley, Tim Yardley, Jennie Yardley, Christy Williams, Michael Cullen, Ryan Cullen, Bill McDonnell, Brian McDonnell, Sean McDonnell and Erin McDonnell, and 15 great grandchildren. Frank was a Hall of Fame Mummer from Philadelphia and thrilled millions of people with Mummer for over forty years. He is in heaven dancing to the Mummer strut with all his Mummers. Hank worked into his ninetieth year with his son-in-law John T. Cullen as an accountant and he will be missed by the many clients and friends who knew him as “Hollywood Hank”. A veteran of WWII, he served as a Captain in the European Theater and was part of the Normandy assault to free Europe. To Frank and fellow soldiers, we thank you for your sacrifice and remain forever grateful for saving the free world. Hank will live forever in the hearts and minds of his family, may he be blessed with peace and happiness with his God and savior. Friends may visit from 7 PM to 9 PM, at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 100 S. Douglas Rd., Pembroke Pines . Funeral Services will be Wednesday morning, Apr. 21, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Family has requested in luie of flowers donation can be made to St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 701 N. Hiatus Road, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33026

Uncle Hank brought his banjo and was the music at my wedding reception at my parents’ house. Couldn’t ask for a better musician. Thanks for the wonderful memories.
