I tried to text Gary a few days ago. I tried to track him down here and there over the last 10 years or so, because he’s the best interventionist for social communication that I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Tonight I stumbled upon his obituary. I want his wife and children to know that Gary was an absolute gem. I am saddened that God took one of the best so early in his life, because it’s people like Gary that we need more of. I believe with all of my Christian heart that Gary is with our Heavenly Father and is in a much better place than the rest of us. But wow…what a loss to those of us still on earth. I can not say enough about Gary. He was an angel to so many of us with special needs kids. I hope you know your husband, father, brother and friend was a superhero to many many families.
