George Sargentini

October 15, 1960~February 15, 2021

George “Sarge”, age 60, was born on October 15, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York to his parents Edna and George. He was greeted by his brother John Persson and his sisters Gloria and Doris.

George graduated New Hyde Park Memorial High School.

Shortly after he hopped upon his motorcycle and moved to Florida. He would spend the rest of his life in Florida.

He had several professions – first as a bartender, then truck driver and finally managing Car 54 Courier Service. He was brilliant on the computer and designed the website and managed it for many years. His personality endeared him to all who came in contact with him.

George was married on 0ct 8th, 1989 to Kimberly McCulloch and they had many happy years together. Kim passed away on April 7, 2005 and George was so lost without her. However, God blessed him with another “Love of his Life” when he met and married Sandra Searson on February 12, 2010 . They both shared a very special and close love.

Sandy fought cancer bravely for many years. She always continued to smile her “special smile” through it all. She passed away on April 7, 2020.

The loss of his “Sandy” was devastating to him. The months to follow were very difficult.  In addition to trying to go on without Sandy the COVID situation affected his business.  He, also, suffered with his own health problems for many years; he was in so much pain.

George will be missed by many who loved him – his sisters, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, many family members and all the many people he came in contact with. He had a special personality, warm smile and his “great stature” left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

May GOD have mercy on his soul and give him peace.

Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Chapel.

Doris and family,
Our thoughts are with you and your family once again. We were very sorry to hear of George’s passing. Phillip still remembers him playing Santa and calling our house. And I’ll never forget his chauffeur ride. Remember the good times.
