January 27, 1944~August 13, 2019

Georgeanne VanBuren Alpert, age 75, joined her mother, father, and brother in Heaven on
August 13, 2019.

She was born on January 27, 1944 in New York City, the only daughter of the late Raymond and
Lorraine Alpert. Georgeanne is lovingly known as “Mimi” to her family.

Georgeanne is survived by two daughters, Holly Greger and Heidi Beh. She also leaves eight
grandchildren, Daniel, Lauren, Joshua, Alexa, Brendan, Erica, Brittany, and Brooke who will miss
their Mimi forever.

Mimi was always full of so much light and hope. She never missed any of the big and small
moments in her family’s lives. There was never a minute that our Mimi wasn’t there for us. We
will miss her for the rest of our days, but always treasure the laughter, memories, and love she
generously shared with us.

Especially in Mimi’s last months, she used to remind us that tomorrow is not promised. Our
family never imagined having to say goodbye to her this soon, but we will continue to make her
proud and live every moment like she would: full of life, hope, and most of all, love.

Mimi is reunited with her parents and brother, who will continue to be our guardian angels for
the rest of our days. We love you, we miss you, and we’ll see you again soon.

“You belong among the wildflowers; you belong somewhere close to me. Far away from your
trouble and your worry. You belong somewhere you feel free.” – Tom Petty
