Giovanni Tirone, 89, of Pembroke Pines passed away Thursday, August 7. He is survived by 4 children; Carmelo Tirone, Rosina, Salvatore Tirone, Karen, Calogera Herndon, Daniel, Mary Tirone, 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, Friends may visit from 6:00-9:00 PM, Sunday at Boyd-Panciera University Dr. Chapel. There will be a Prayer Service 7:30 PM, Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, Aug. 11, at Blessed John XXIII Catholic Parish Church. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park.

We will miss you, Grandpa!! We didn’t see you as often after we moved away, but looked forward to seeing you whenever we were in Florida. I will always remember my visits to you house and sharing a shot of Amaretto or Frangelica and just talking. Having 3 of your drawings hanging in our home is wonderful reminder of all the good times with you and Grandma and all the Tirones. I know you are glad to be home with Grandma now and at peace. We love you!!
