Gisela Spence peacefully departed this life on August 8, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.

Born on August 26, 1935, in Stettin, Germany, Gisela grew up surrounded by her family and remained deeply connected to her roots throughout her life. She was predeceased by her beloved siblings, Brigitte, Doreit, Hans, Gerheirt, and Klaus.

Gisela was a devoted mother to her son, Michael Spence, who was the light of her life. Their bond was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. In her final days, she spent precious time with Michael in Miami, enjoying the beauty of the beach and creating treasured memories together.

Gisela was blessed with a lifelong best friend, Ilse Dove, who was more like a sister than a friend. Their enduring friendship was one of love, loyalty, and companionship through the years.

She also leaves behind three loving nieces who cherished her deeply:

• Debra Smith, married to Gary Smith
• Barbara Freeman, married to Aaron Freeman
• Brenda Harris, married to Ven Harris

Along with many extended family members and friends, they will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Gisela will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, lively spirit, and the love she freely gave to those around her. Her presence brought comfort and joy to the lives of many, and her memory will continue to be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Though she is no longer with us in person, her love remains in every treasured memory, every shared story, and every heart she touched.

Forever in our hearts, always in our thoughts, and lovingly remembered every day.

A Memorial Service will take place on September 5th, 2026, from 4:00 PM – 6 PM with a Tribute of a Lifetime service at 5:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, located at 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
