Gloria Jalon Feraud, age 97, of Guayaquil Ecuador died peacefully June 23, 2026, at Cleveland hospital in Weston, FL surrounded by her loved and caring family.

Gloria was born November 11, 1928, in Guayaquil Ecuador. She attended Colegio Guayaquil and was accepted as a pre-med candidate at Guayaquil University but had to stop due to a severe illness that kept her bedridden for one year.

She continued training in Hospital Luis Vernaza as a lab technologist where she worked until moving to the US in 1969. She worked as a lab technologist at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY until she moved to Miami in 1979 where she continued as a lab technologist until she retired.

She was married to Hector Francisco Arcentales (divorced) and had six children, 2 girls and 4 boys: Patricia M, Francisco X, Marco A, Gonzalo I, Miguel A and Lourdes E. She had 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.

She loved and enjoyed traveling and visited many cities in the US, South America, Europe and Asia. She loved music and dancing. She particularly enjoyed “Caballo Viejo”, “Vivir La Vida” and “Reloj” but she also enjoyed many romantic and tropical tunes from various periods in her life.

Our dear mother Gloria endured many challenges and hardships throughout her life, and she faced them with courage and temperance and would not allow any obstacle or incumbrance to diminish her vibrant and joyful spirit. Her faith in God and the sacrifice of his only son Jesus kept this spirit strong and alive.

She leaves her joyful spirit firmly planted in our hearts as a legacy to live every moment of our lives with faith and in harmony with family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, located at 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida, 33024.

Gloria Jalón Feraud, edad 97, de Guayaquil Ecuador falleció el 23 de Junio, 2026, en el hospital Cleveland en Weston, FL acompañada de sus seres queridos.

Gloria nació el 11 de Noviembre de 1928 en Guayaquil Ecuador. Se graduó en el Colegio Guayaquil y fue admitida a pre-medicina en la Universidad de Guayaquil pero tuvo que abandonar sus estudios debido a una severa enfermedad que la mantuvo en cama por un año.

Continuó su capacitación como Tecnóloga de Laboratorio en el Hospital Luis Vernaza donde trabajó hasta que trasladó su residencia a los Estados Unidos en 1969. Trabajó como Tecnóloga de Laboratorio en el Hospital Mount Sinai en la ciudad de Nueva York hasta que se trasladó a Miami en 1979 donde continuó como Tecnóloga de Laboratorio hasta su retiro.

Estuvo casada con Héctor Francisco Arcentales (divorciada) y tuvieron seis hijos, 2 mujeres y 4 varones: Patricia M, Francisco X, Marco A, Gonzalo I, Miguel A y Lourdes E. Tuvo 14 nietos, 11 bisnietos, y 7 tataranietos.

Ella amaba y disfrutaba viajar y conoció muchos ciudades de Estados Unidos, Sud- América, Europa y Asia. Amaba la música y el baile. En particular disfrutaba mucho “Caballo Viejo”, “Vivir La Vida” y “Reloj” pero también disfrutaba muchos temas románticos y tropicales de varios períodos a lo largo de su vida.

Nuestra querida madre Gloria superó muchos retos y contratiempos a travez de su vida pero los enfrentó con tenacidad y templanza, y no permitió que ningún obstáculo derrotara su espíritu viváz y feliz. Su fé en Dios y en el sacrificio de su único hijo Jesús mantuvo su espíritu con fortaleza y lleno de vida.

Gloria nos deja la alegría de su espíritu sembrado en nuestros corazones como un legado para vivir cada momento de nuestras vidas con Fé y en armonía con nuestras familias y amigos.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio conmemorativo el sábado 11 de julio de 2026, de 2:00 p. m. a 6:00 p. m., en Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, ubicado en 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida, 33024.
