Gustavo Loaiza Valencia was born on August 12, 1939 in Chinchiná, Colombia and died in his sleep on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

He had four siblings –  German (deceased) and is survived by his three sisters, Irma, Amanda and Nubia Loaiza.  Gustavo married Dalila and had three children, Alfredo (deceased), Elizabeth (Mendez) and Roosevelt.  Grandchildren: Andres Mendez, Melanie Loaiza and Isabella Loaiza.

Gustavo migrated to New York City in 1968 where he lived with his wife and children until 1987 when he moved to Davie, Florida.  Ever since stepping into South Florida he continued with his love of fishing, bowling and of course dancing!  He was an avid sports fan, music aficionado and loved to be called by his nickname “Gulova”.   He sure was special and will be missed by his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care University Drive Chapel , 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024. Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 PM.   Burial and a Graveside Service is  scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1500 S. State Road 7, N. Lauderdale, FL   33068 at 11:00 am.
