BROWARD — Harold M. Louis, 87, died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Royal Living Assisted Living Facility in Plantation.

He leaves his wife of 65 years, Melvyn (Keith) Louis; his sons, Russel Louis and Keith Louis; and his daughter, Jay Louis. 

Born in Newark, New Jersey on June of 1931, the son of Benjamin and Gertrude (Seigal) Louis, he was a lifelong resident of Plantation.

In his early years, Harold attended college. He also joined the Armed Forces by enlisiting in the U.S. Air Force, he served until his honorable discharge. He later made a career as a food broker. 

Per his request, no service will be held. His wish was for his body to be donated to the Anatomical Board at the University  of Miami to help future doctors and for medical research.
