Hazel Arnetta Lewis-Boatswain, 67, of Miramar, passed away peacefully Friday, March 18, 2016, under the caring care of Seasons Hospice. Hazel was born on December 8, 1848, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, to the late Clyde Lewis and Drucilla (Fernandez) Lewis. Preceded in death by brother, Arthur Lewis. She is survived by her loving children, Wayne (Tessa) Boatswain, Damien Boatswain and Deborah (Michael) Boatswain-Sutherland; grandchildren, Hazel Boatswain, Kiel Sutherland and Hakeem Boatswain; great-granddaughter, Leeanna; brothers, Christopher Lewis, Anthony Lewis, Winston Lewis; sister, Patricia Lewis-Belasco; brother-in-law, Franklin; sisters-in-law, Edith and Angela; nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Keron, Marcus, Amanda, Tia, Adrian, Michelle, Kerwin and Zenobia; and niece-in-law, Sabrina Lewis. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016, from 2-4 p.m.with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 3:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.
