MORALES, Hilda “Elvis”, 78, of Dania Beach passed away peacefully January 20th, 2020 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born May 28,1941 in Ceiba, Puerto Rico to Enrique Morales and Martina Estrada. Elvis came to South Florida with her daughter 18 years ago to be closer to her loved ones.
She was a mother figure to everyone that she encountered. She shared her love and knowledge of scriptures. She was a devoted member of the Iglesia Cristiana La Gran Comisión. Elvis was a cosmetologist by profession but she brought beauty to anything she touched. This reflected in her dedication to help and serve people and in her gardens that seemed to thrive with only her touch.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Efrain. Survived by her son, Johnnier Jr.; daughter, Sandra Dilan; brother, Enrique; sisters, Ruth and Miriam Haydee; grandchildren, Johnnier III, Jaditza, Jashaira, Johnnier Junior, Yadinier and Yadieris;great-grandchildren, Italia Sophia, Liana and Alisa.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 7:00-10:30 PM with a Service at 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, family is kindly asking for contributions for general funeral expenses via Zelle or Venmo.
