Miles, Irene Elizabeth “Betty”, 88, of Hollywood, coming from Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband of many years, Alfred Miles. Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Joanne Miles and her husband, Michael J. Hunt and Rebecca Baltzelle and her husband, James; and grandchildren, John Miles Hunt, Annie Baltzelle, Elizabeth Hunt, Katie Baltzelle, and Molly Baltzelle. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2013, from 4-6 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 5:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, June 17, 10:00 a.m. at St Stephen Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery east.

Dear Joanne and Rebecca,
We are deeply saddened by the passing of your mother, our very dear friend, Betty. We have so many wonderful memories of the years we were together in Florida. You, two, were just kids, and we loved spending time with your family.
Your mother, dad and MeMom were a part of our lives. Throughout the 41 years since we moved back to Germany we kept in touch. Your mother wrote, and we called her at least once a year on her birthday.
What a blessing it was to spend some time with her at St. Monica’s 50th Anniversary jubilee in January 2009. For us it was THE HIGHLIGHT. We will miss her very much.
Our children join us in extending our deepest sympathy.

We will miss our “Queen Elizabeth” who was always dressed to the 9’s! She was a woman of utmost dignity and elegance, and was truly an inspiration to all of us!
