James Flynn, Sr, 79, of Sapphire, North Carolina, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Survived by children, Mary (Scott) Dry and James (Elizabeth) Flynn; and grandchildren, Melissa Dry, Scott Dry, Kelli Flynn and Katie Flynn. Mass will take place on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, followed by Entombment. Dear Mary and Jim: I’ve known you both and your mom and dad my entire life and I am truly sorry for your loss. I remember your dad from Tappan days and there were some great times by the pool.
