Pinder, Janie M., 78, of Hollywood, a longtime South Florida resident coming from Birmingham, AL, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010. Retired from Dade County School Bus Transportation as Director of Operations. Member of St. Maximilian-Kolbe Catholic Church where she was co-founder of the Kolbe-Krafters. Founding and past member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Miami. Predeceased by husband Raymond Pinder, Sr. Survived by children William McAuliff Oria, Raymond Pinder, Jr. Eileen, Bernice Brillinger, and Melissa Orgon, Jeffrey; grandchildren William, Jr., Oria, Terri, Eddie, Christina, Ryan, Amber & Jordan; and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be Monday today at 1:00 PM, at St. Maximilian-Kolbe Catholic Church, 701 N. Hiatus Rd., followed by interment at Southern Memorial Park. Janie’s family suggests donations in her memory be sent to Schott Memorial Center, 6591 South Flamingo Road Cooper City, FL 33330.
