Jeanette Johnson, a loving mother, grandmother and sister, of Pembroke Pines, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family on Monday, January 30, 2017. She was 78 years old. Jeanette was born on June 12, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York. She was one of three children born to the late Samuel Yankovich and Mary (Liberi) Yankovich. Worked for many years as a clerk for Broward County Correctional Facility. Preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Eric Johnson. Survived by daughter, Annette Johnson; son, Eric (Beverly) Johnson, Jr, Denise (Sam) Romans; sisters, Mary Mahoney, Adele (Howard) Van Sciver; grandchildren, Eric Johnson, III, Samantha Johnson, Samuel Dustin Romans and Caitlyn Romans. Memorial Mass will be officiated on Friday, February 10, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church.
