“To everything there is a season.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
A TIME TO BE BORN
Jephthah Kenly Davis was born on the beautiful island of Cat Island Bahamas to the late Nehemiah and Bulah Tynes-Davis. He was affectionately called “Emery” by his family.
A TIME TO EDUCATE
Jephthah received his education at the New Bight All-Age School. Upon completion, he moved to Nassau for a short while.
A TIME TO WORK
Jephthah was always a worker, and this was shown in all the jobs he would have held. He was a teacher’s helper for a short while in Cat Island. He was also a mechanic, and worked for the Adelphia Cable Company for many years as a cable technician.
At a very young age, Jephthah received the Lord as his personal Saviour and was baptized in Jesus’ Name. He was known among his family and friends as a mighty man of God and very knowledgeable in teaching and expounding the Word of God. Jephthah travelled throughout The United States and The Bahamas preaching and teaching the Word of God. He also served in various churches as a Sunday school teacher, Assistant Pastor and finally Pastor. In his latter years, he would answer the call of God where he would have serve as Senior Pastor of Church of the Holy Ghost for some years.
A TIME TO DIE
On March 27, 2021 after being sick for a while he took his last breath and went to begin his life anew with his Beloved Lord and Saviour.
