John A. Squillace, a loving husband and father, long time resident of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, August 11, 2018. He was 89 years old. John was born on July of 1929, in Logan, West Virginia, to the late Vincent Squillace and Joanna Azzara. He attended high school and short after enlisted in the Armed Forces and proudly served in the U.S. Army until his honorable discharge. He then worked as a sales representative for a tobacco company. John is survived by his beloved wife, Lorenza Squillace and son, Japan B. Squillace. Memorial Mass was held on Tuesday, August 28th, 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, followed by inurnment at South Florida National Cemetery.
