Carlson, John Robert, 90, of Miramar, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017. John went to Miami Edison and graduated from University of Miami with a B.S. in Civil Engineering degree in 1951. He retired February 9, 2009 as President of Carlson Construction Co. after 54 years. He was predeceased by his parents John E. and Esther Carlson and son Jon E. Carlson. He is survived by his wife Rosalie, daughters Candace Maners, Patricia Smith, sons Andrew Carlson, Cris Carlson, Glenn Carlson, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, Feb. 4, at Boyd-Panciera 6400 Hollywood Blvd. Chapel.
