RAMSEY, John Robert, 90, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 29, 2016. John was born on June 20, 1926, in Long Beach, California, to the late David Ramsey and Helen Shermer. He proudly served this country in the US Navy between 1943-1947, after his discharge John became a construction manager in the telecommunications industry. He sis survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Charlotte Ramsey; daughter, Kathy Ramsey; sons, Mark Ramsey and Kim Ramsey; step-children, Bruce Hicks and Bonny Freese; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Urn Committal Service will take place on Thursday, February 16, 2017, 11:30 a.m. at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
