John was an amazing big brother. He would make the best snow forts for all of us to play in. I use to love to tag after him. He did not enjoy having his baby sister who is 6 years younger follow him around. I remember him give me one of his albums for getting first place in a track meet and going trick or treating with him and my sister. They didn’t take me trick or treating they taught me the fine art of toilet papering, and raiding. He would come home to visit and play with his nieces and nephews. He so loved to play with them when they were little. He had a lot of love to share with many. I live you John.

I will miss you big brother. I am anguished by this sudden loss. You always called when you needed me. This day you didn’t, It is my only why. You protected me growing up. My best friend through high school since we moved my freshman year. I will miss your random texts and phone calls. John, you were and are for ever loved. Lynn

John was a very special friend. He was a very giving person and loved to serve people. He didn’t have much confidence but should have. He was an extremely busy person and didn’t think much of himself but he should have.

I went to Dallasrown with John and have many fond memories. His green muscle car where I I learned to drive stick. The weekend trips to the river with our groups of friends, going to Alberto’s for pizza and his infectious laugh. I have thought of John, Lynn and Erica thoughout the years and smiled. Thank you for the memories my friend, Jeff

John, you were a bright star of my younger years. You made us smile and laugh all the time. Your dad would take us to church activities during the week in his big white suburban type vehicle which I liked because I didn’t get car sick like I did in our smaller car. You had a crush on Wanda, and I had a crush on your older brother Tom. My brother, Donald, left this world unexpectedly, too. I hope you two have reconnected. I love you both and am so grateful for the knowledge that we will see each other again.
