Jon D. Ionita, age 84, a resident of Hollywood, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2018. He was born in Braila, Romania, to the late Dragomir and Florica Ionita. He received his Bachelor’s degree and had a long lasting career as a Civil Engineer. Survived by his son Calin Ionita and his wife Andriana. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 26th, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. Funeral Service will be on Friday, July 27th, 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Lauderdale.
