Arzuaga, Jose Antonio, age 76, of Pembroke Pines, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. 

He was born on September 19, 1942, in Humacao, Puerto Rico, to Antonio Arzuaga and Carmen Burgos. Jose was a proud veteran, he enlisted in the Armed Forces and served in the U.S. Army as a Private First Class from 1961-1963. After his honorable discharge, he met his wife Elsie, forming a beautiful family together. 

Jose will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Elsie Arzuaga; his 3 loving daughters, Elsie Platt, Ana Arzuaga, and  Barbara Arzuaga; sister, Carmen Denis Arzuaga; grandchildren, Adam, Vincent, Tyler, Andrea, and Theresa; and great-grandson, Cooper. 

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, April 26th, 11:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Inurnment with Military Honors will be on Monday, April 29th, 9:30 AM at South Florida National Cemetery.
