Jose is resting at last after his long struggle with Alzheimer’s. In life, he was the kindest, gentlest man we ever knew. He was the most caring husband and father, and the best friend and colleague that anyone could want.

His many accomplishments included a BS in Industrial Engineering, an MBA and in 2012 he completed a MS in Computer Modeling and Simulation.

Throughout his life, he held various positions. The years he spent working with the Burger King/RSI community were the ones he cherished the most. Upon retirement, he taught Statistics at Valencia in Orlando.

He also enjoyed athletic activities, and for several years he could be found jogging at Tropical Park after work. He enrolled in Tae Kwon Do to encourage his children by his example, and we became part of that community for many years. He was also an avid swimmer and worked to get various PADI Scuba certifications. For years his favorite dive spot was diving the wrecks off Key Largo.

What most describes who he was is this. Jose was truly a good man. A kind and gentle man who was always ready to help anyone he saw in need. He will be missed by all of those who loved him.

Jose is survived by his wife Miriam, son Victor, daughter Rebecca, son-in-law Rusty, and grandchildren Elizabeth and Lucas.

A Memorial Gathering is to be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a Tributes of a Lifetime and Religious Service at 6:15 PM, at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, located at 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

An Urn Committal will take place the following day, Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Vista Memorial Gardens, located at 14200 Northwest 57th Avenue, Miami Lakes, Florida 33014.
