Josefina Bermudez, age 94, a long time resident of Hollywood, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2019. 

Born in 1925, in the beautiful island of Ponce, Puerto Rico, to the late Felipe Giron and Virginia Cruz.

After graduating high school, Josefina continued her education until become a nurse, a career which gave her much satisfaction. She was all about helping others. She married the love of her life and best friend, Miguel, together they spent wonderful years together raising their son Angel. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Miguel in 2017. They are now sharing eternity together, how the always wanted to be. 

Josefina is survived by her loving son, Angel F. Bermudez and his wife Melba; and dear daughters, Josephine Lambroux and Mirta Zeigler. 

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 20th, 10:45 a.m. at South Florida National Cemetery where she was laid to rest next to her beloved husband.
