Laferriere, Joseph Guy, 75, of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017, at the age of 75. Born on April 17, 1941, in Louiseville, Quebec, Canada, to the late Roger Laferriere and Isabell Champagne. A proud US Army veteran, loyal husband, caring father, grandfather and brother. Survived by his wife, Rosanne Laferriere; son, Joseph Laferriere; sisters, Loriane (Leon) Hershfield, Lili (Mario) Lamar, Lucette (John) Fitzgerald, Michelle Laferriere; and grandchildren, Jasmine, Madison, and Brielle. Gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2017, starting at 4:00 p.m. with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 5:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.
