Cindy, Lance, Nick and the entire Parella family: We are so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. We have sweet memories of Joe. Always the best neighbor for almost 30 years. We would talk for hours on the sidewalk about his family and especially his grandchildren. His stories were always so funny and entertaining. May Joe rest in peace with our heavenly father! We just became aware of Joe’s passing. We are shocked and wish to offer our condolences to You all. I personally always admired Joe and tried to model myself after Him as a great Husband, Father and Human Being. Loved working with Him, going to Dolphin games and tailgating, and being part of His fantasy football league. Christmas parties and picnics at the old credit union were always a blast.

My sister in law sent me this horribly sad information. My heart is breaking. When he and my brother were young they were always together and as they grew and got married and had children they were still best friends hence my closeness to him and your family. Actually your mom would pass down your baby clothes for my daughter, Tara, now turning 30. OMG Time flies but u never forget those that have always had a place in my heart. They both left us way too early. My love goes to your mom and your family. He was such a special person and special to my brother, Henry. God keep him near and with my brother. So sorry
