Julia Leonor Diaz, age 81, a long time resident of Miramar, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Julia was born in the beautiful island of Ponce, Puerto Rico. She met and married her soul mate Robert, together they raised their two sons in a loving home. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. Pre-deceased by her parents, Roberto Rios and Leonor Torres. Survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Robert R. Diaz; sons, Robert L. Diaz and Vidal Rios; grandchildren, Sophia Victoria Diaz, Robert Reagan Diaz and Michael Rios. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, October 20th, 9:30 AM at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church.
