Plane, June Marie nee Wollner passed into God’s arms on October 1, 2015. She was a native Miamian, born January 17, 1929 to her pioneer parents C. Ernst and Mildred Wollner. she attended schools in both Miami Beach and Miami. June graduated Miami Edison Senior High School in 1948 and was a member of the Miami Edison “Over the Hill Gang”. In 1950, June married the love of her life, Robert Bob Plane and eventually settled in Miami Beach. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this past September. June worked in the banking profession for several years before becoming a stay at home mother for her three children. After her husband’s retirement from the City of Miami Beach, they built a second home in Blowing Rock, NC and divided their time between there and Miami Beach. In addition to her loving and devoted husband, June is survived by son, Robert Plane Jr., his wife Barbara, and his son Sean, of Blowing Rock NC; son, Charles Plane, his wife Linda, and their son Daniel, of Boone, NC; and daughter, April Plane Teboe, her husband Glenn, and their two daughters, Cindy and Amber, of Miami Beach, FL. Friends may visit on Wednesday, October 7 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood, FL 33024 there will be a Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 7:30 pm followed by a reception at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Blowing Rock, NC. through Hamptons Funeral Home in Boone, NC, 1-828-264-7100.
