I was Kaleel"s Reading and English teacher at Hollywood Hills High School. I will always remember him as a quiet, hard working, polite young man. I would always tell him "I wish all the students were like you". He was a very special person and it was my honor to have known him. I extend my sincere sympathy to all of his family.

Kaleel was one of the best people I’ve ever had the chance of meeting in my entire life. Always well-mannered and respectful. Working with him at Joe’s and building a friendship past that, I got to appreciate how bright and mature he was. Not to mention he was the greatest, most diligent, humble worker I’ve had the pleasure of working beside (money team!). He will be missed by many, always smiling contagiously and brightening all of our days with his presence and positivity on a day to day basis. Although much younger than me, the friendship and support I received from him is irreplaceable, as he always reminded me to keep doing my best and pushing forward. The world lost a wonderful person but the impact he left on our lives is eternal.

I can still picture Kaleel sitting in my Geometry class as a tenth grader at Hollywood Hills High. He always seemed to have this enigmatic smile on his face…he was such a great kid. I’m so sad that he’s gone. Condolences to Kaleel’s family and friends, rest peacefully Kaleel. Ms. Sherman

So sorry to hear about your loss Fred and may god be with you and your family in this difficult time. You are my brother to another mother but life’s decisions sent us in different directions as we grew older but you are thought of often and in my heart.
