Kayla Brittney Goldstein, age 35, passed away on September 17, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family, after a courageous battle of Stage 1V Colon Cancer. Kayla, was and will always be, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, partner, nurse, and friend whose life was defined by the extraordinary way she loved the people around her.

Kayla, was the cherished daughter to Kelly and Brian Goldstein, sister to Alexander Goldstein, and above all else the incredibly proud mother of her son, Brayden Thompson.

Being Brayden’s mom was one of her greatest joys. She loved him beyond measure and was so proud of the kind, loving young man he was becoming.

Kayla was through and through a girly girl. She loved all things pink, bows, country music, concerts, the beach, the mountains and spending time with her gals. She was smart, fun, loyal and deeply caring.

Fulfilling the dream she held since she was a little girl, Kayla dedicated her professional life to helping others as Nursery/Labor and Delivery nurse. She truly loved what she did, bringing a natural kindness, deep compassion, and a big heart. She touched countless lives, by supporting women and families, and even many of her friends by bringing comfort and joy as she helped deliver their babies.

Even during her fight against cancer, Kayla displayed remarkable bravery and strength. She never lost her fierce resolve, her willingness to speak her mind, or her true nature of always being there for others with endless compassion and help. She possessed immense courage and was deeply admired by all.

As an incredible woman who touched so many hearts, Kayla will be missed and loved eternally. The beauty of her spirit, and the depth of her love, will remain with us forever. Her memory is a blessing that will stay with us always, guiding us forward and reminding us how to live life to the fullest. To know Kayla was to love her, and to love her is a privilege we will carry in our hearts for all our days.

Visitation will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 7:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.

A second visitation will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Calvary Chapel Plantation. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Davie, FL.
