Kovacs, Kimberly A., 53, of Davie, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013. Preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Fawn Kovacs. She is survived by her dear friends, Joseph Zamora and Robert Baker. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20th, beginning at 12:30 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale. Interment will follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery.

My former school teacher and close friend, Ms. Kim Kovacs of Hollywood Hills High School. She taught special ed. classes. She was a close friend of mine, I knew her for 21 years. I saw the good and the bad of her. She was the first teacher I ever met back in 1992. We had bible studies every week then she would take me or other’s to dinner, most of the time she paid for it for us. That was her heart. She was my Christian Godmother. She taught me the bible and to love our lord and my savior Jesus Christ. She taught me to become a man at a young age.
Kim at times had a lot of things wrong with her, but always had time for you and she had a heart to help you. The last time I saw her was in June 2009, my mother almost died. She show her love for me mentally and spiritually. Without her, my faith in God would die. She’s in a better place, where no pain and wars will not happen, ever! She has seen glory. I love her forever.
