Larry A. Lindstrom

November 24, 1945~June 04, 2018

It is with great sadness that the Lindstrom family announces the passing of Larry Lindstrom on June 4th, 2018. He is survived by his 3 daughters and their families, Karyn (Scott) Fuzer, Brandy (Jeff) Rosenberg, and Lindsay Lindstrom and his brother, Philip. His grandchildren already miss him very much: Britni, Blake and Colton, as do his nieces and nephews.

Larry died peacefully in his sleep, and now resides in his Heavenly “mansion” with Jesus. A man of incredibly strong faith, he absolutely adored his church, Calvary Chapel in Ft. Lauderdale.

A staunch advocate of Compassion International and all children, he sponsored a lovely young girl for many years.

Prior to moving to Florida almost 20 years ago, Larry hailed and worked in Chicago as a successful commodities trader. He was fond of talking about the price of “pork bellies” and had great respect for the Greenburg Family who not only employed him but befriended him as well.

An extremely intelligent and self-taught man, he routinely impressed those he was able to share conversation with and especially enjoyed discussing politics. A diehard fan, Larry was ECSTATIC when his beloved Chicago Cubs won the world series in 2016.

The family would like to extend an extremely heartfelt thank you to Bill and Jan Romeo along with son Ricky, for their enormous support, care and concern as they played a key role in keeping Larry comfortable as the entire Lindstrom family resides outside of Florida.

We also would like to recognize the 101 Club, a group of friends who made Larry “laugh a lot”, and for that we are so thankful.

His cremains will be scattered at sea per his wishes – he indeed loved his beautiful blue water and very much enjoyed his time spent living on the beach.

A memorial service will occur on Saturday 16 June, 11am-1pm, at Solid Rock Ministry, 140 W Prospect Road, Oakland Park, FL, 33309. Contact cherished friend Reverend Wm. James Delaney, for further details: 954.779.7719.

Those desiring to make a charitable donation in Larry’s name respectfully are requested to do so to Compassion International or to Calvary Church in Ft. Lauderdale.Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel

Larry rented my condo in Wynmoor for many years. I had many great conversation with him about our Lord and Savior and his love for the Lord and his time that he spent at his church. I had grown up in an orphanage so we discussed how important it was to know the Lord and how it made me become the woman that I am. He had a passion for children. He was thrilled when he knew he would see his children but regrets for the many times that he had lost with them. My prayers and thoughts are with the family and to have memories of all of the good times. He is certainly at home with the Lord and walking the streets of gold and waiting to meet up with us .
