Laurie Jackson, a beloved daughter, sister, and mother, passed away suddenly at home on August 27, 2026, leaving a profound void in the lives of all who knew her. Born on November 10, 1964, in Homestead, Florida, Laurie was the cherished daughter of John and Connie Jackson.

Laurie spent her formative years in the vibrant community of North Miami, where she graduated from North Miami Senior High in 1982. Her dedication to learning and her keen intellect were evident from a young age, traits that she carried throughout her life.

For the past 35 years, Laurie devoted her career to the banking industry, where she was known for her integrity, professionalism, and warm demeanor. Her colleagues and clients alike admired her unwavering commitment to her work and her genuine care for those she served.

Laurie’s family was the cornerstone of her life. She was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Donald Ritts, who was her pride and joy. Her love for her family extended to her son-in-law, Leonardo Ritts, sister, Wendy Dunbar, brother-in-law, Brian Dunbar,  nieces, Megan Dominguez and Kristen Johnson, nephew-in-law, David Dominguez, grand nieces, Emma and Leah Dominguez, and grand nephews, Jacob Dominguez and Kaysen Johnson, all with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Laurie’s mother, Connie Jackson Frame, and step father, Steve Frame, was a constant source of support and inspiration in her life.

Laurie’s sudden departure has left her family and friends in deep sorrow, but they find comfort in the treasured memories and the legacy of kindness and love she leaves behind.

A service to honor Laurie’s life will be held on September 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Boyd Panciera Funeral Home, located at 1600 N University Drive, Pembroke Pines, FL. Laurie will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and her unwavering dedication to her family and career.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice, reflecting Laurie’s generous spirit and her lifelong commitment to helping others.

Laurie’s radiant spirit, boundless love, and enduring kindness will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave to others.
