Man words cant express How i feel right now. Besides my father Mr.Rhodes taught me how to play sports.I really respected every word that came out of his mouth.His whole attitude made me feel like I cant be touched by anyone because thats how he handled things.My second family I love everyone so much whether they know it or not.To Mr.s Rhodes my second mom dont worry at all God has Dad in his hands and I promise he will take care of him.To my brothers and sisters keep ur head up and remember we are talking about dad here so u already know he is looking down on us watching baseballl and eating GOdfather’s pizza lol. I just pray that God would let me live the life and have the workman’s attitude that Mr.Rhodes aka My Second dad. I love u dad and you will most definately be missed.

When you say the name Dusty many things may come to mind, but what comes to my mind is a loving, caring, and funny man. I respect all he has done for his family and I thank him for raising my husband to be just like him. I feel like he left us too soon, but he left me with lasting memories. We love you.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I have so many wonderful memories of your family and especially your father. Dusty was a great man and could always make you laugh. He will be greatly missed.

I have a lot of wonderful memories of Dusty and the entire Rhodes family. I just found out last night that he had passed away. My prayers are with you during this very difficult time!!

The true character of a man is determined by his love for his family. Dusty’s life revolved around his family. Through the good times or
the hard times, his driving force was his family and their well-being.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. You could not
measure the love he had for us. He has left a void that can never be
filled. I thank GOD for the 42 years we had together, but my selfish
side wanted so much more. You were the “Wind beneath my wings”
and now I will never soar again. Years back I dedicated the song
“Because You Loved Me” to you in an effort to express my love for
you. It was because you loved me that my life was filled with love.
Remember our song when we fell in love? It was “Goodnight My Love”.
I now say “Goodnight My Love” until we are together again. I love you.

I light this candle to let you know how much I love you. Until we are
together again. Continue to watch over us, protect us and guide us
down the right path.

I woke up alone on Christmas morning. I have reserved your spot

Hey Dad I just want to say thanks for the presents you bought for me. I know you spent your last hours making sure evryone got their gifts and that shows the type of person you are. Christmas was not the same but I know you were there and I know you were smiling. I struggle the most with not understanding why you had to go but I know that you are in a good place and will always watch over us. This New Years will be tough but I know that for the first time in my life I will have a true angel watching over me and I know you will protect me through the New Year.
